Tattoo Jam and first charity donation

October 19, 2014

Tattoo Jam 2014 took place over the period of August 10th-12th - and as usual Adorn had artists working there. This year both Anna Garvey and Josh Taylor were working alongside our friend and past guest artist at the shop, Jared Preslar, from Lucky Bamboo in Utah, USA.

Anna created this watercolour abstract face, on the forearm of a great lady at the show. Anna has started a lot of large pieces this week so lots more photos to come in the future!

Josh Taylor produced this horror face in black and grey on a walk-in client. This piece adds to an entirely horror related leg sleeve. Josh heads off to America next week for a month and everyone at Adorn wishes him happy travels!

Back in store, we are pleased to have received our first donation towards the Morogoro Regional Hospitals in Africa. Donations will be being collected throughout the month of November but if you wish to donate early then feel free to drop into the shop. This really is a great cause...

Josh Watson has been working away in store and produced this blackwork hawk and dotwork elephant. After seeing Tattoo Jam he has decided to work the Tattoo Freeze 2015 - so make sure you book early to guarantee a slot with him at next year's event!

Chelsea has been piercing in the shop and recently pierced this lady’s nostril to give her a matching pair. She has also been upgrading a lot of jewellery from our jewellery selection in store. This drop feather BCR looks great in a healed Rook piercing.

Aiden has had an interesting week this week. He created a snowflake scar on Anna’s forearm, became a professional partner for Dangerous Things - so is now therefore able to offer magnet and RFID implants in store - and he has also been playing with the anodiser for coloured initial piercings!
