It’s been a manic few weeks here at Adorn and a lot has happened so we have lots to update you all on!
Firstly a few weeks ago the Adorn team and friends got to celebrate our 5 year birthday! We celebrated in style with entertainment from our amazing clients, delicious cocktails and way too much food! It was a really fun evening and got us looking back at some of the moments we’ve shared over the last 5 years from the first piercing in the studio to the anniversary party itself and the lovely people we’ve met along the way!
Next announcement is that Fiona Lewitt will be returning between 14th-25th March! Her books are filling up already so get in touch with us to book an appointment with her while she’s with us this time.
In the studio Anna has been busy with her clients; one of her first pieces of the year was this geometric style elephant which looks incredible! She’s also done some beautiful lines in this lace piece, and a gonzo themed chest piece. She has a lot of work on the go at the moment with these pastel colour flowers added to a sleeve on one of her regular clients, and some work on a cover up which was started at the tattoo freeze convention.
Josh has been doing some great black and grey work with this mountain and forest piece. He's also done some great colour work recently with this watercolour blink 182 piece, an abstract style lion and a watercolour pink and purple rose on a hip which all look excellent!
Rach recently got to finish one of her largest pieces . This cat has been an ongoing project with her client and the hard work paid off and it looks fantastic! She's also been working on lots of new projects starting with this teapot thigh piece which looks great already! She's also done this lovely henna style piece along with an owl on the hip and some excellent lines.
The piercing team have also been super busy! Chelsea has a lady who wanted to match her piercings up to a beautiful purple opal set up so we used a purple opal flower from anatometal on an industrial strength interchangeable clicker and matched it with an anatometal cluster in her helix . He's also been using a lot of our industrial strength jewellery in navels such as this gorgeous mint green princess cut prong set swarovski crystal navel bar in a lovely young lady's fresh piercing. Shrewsbury has also been loving the gold jewellery recently! Chelsea used a 14k white gold bee in this helix piercing, and used a body gems lunEAR moon shaped ring in this daith piercing which looks amazing!
Aiden has also been going daith mad recently, he did one with an industrial strength odyssey clicker with clear swarovski gems, and one using a 14k rose gold heart. Both look beautiful! He also used more gold jewellery in this scapha piercing using an 18k white gold moon. He's also done a lot of forward helix piercings like this one using a neometal black onyx cabochon for a simple clean look. He's also been upgrading lots of old piercings to some good quality beautiful jewellery, like this tragus piercing using a white and black opal flower by industrial strength.
