Happy Easter to everyone! Whilst we've been eating way too much chocolate and cake - the Adorn team have also been hard at work so here's our update on what we've been up to!

Fiona has been with us the last two weeks and she has of course been super busy!  Fiona got to work on some great pieces like this medusa head and a large saxophone piece on a stomach and a graphic rose piece too. Then Fi got to undertake lovely colour work such as these beautiful woodland mushrooms on collarbones and some his and hers cactaur pieces as well. As always it was so much fun having Fiona with us and we can't wait until she's back again!

Anna has been doing a lot of large ongoing pieces recently, she started this geometric/dotwork style stag and also did a cover up of an old tattoo using a sloth to give this ladies arm a new look. She then got to finish a large tree backpiece that she started a while ago which looks absolutely beautiful! Also, more finishing touches to a sleeve that’s been in the works for a while, adding some flowers and  insects to her existing work. Finally Anna got to do a long awaited piece on Katie our jewellery lady and did the first session on her first tattoo on her 18th Birthday so we celebrated with watermelon party hats and lots of cake! Anna and Aiden are now off to Nepal for 2 weeks for the Kathmandu tattoo convention!

Rachelle has been doing some great colour work recently and produced this beautiful crystal ball that she's wanted to do for a while! As well as this she did a pastel ice cream skull and a teeny doughnut on Fiona whilst she was here. She then did a lovely little illustration piece and a large henna style piece with some peacock feathers on the back of the thigh.

Our piercing team have been super busy recently. Chelsea helped a lady upgrade her jewellery and we helped her choose a lovely purple set up using a combination of anodised titanium, neometal lavender opals and an anatometal cluster made of amethyst cabochons and salmon pink and amethyst colour cubic zirconias. She also added some piercings using the same colour theme to a ladies forward helix with a combination of purple opals by neometal. More upgrades Chelsea recently did included a helix with an unusual red combination of topaz, opal and tigers eye stones and a simple white opal cluster in a healed daith that Chelsea pierced a few months ago. She also did  a lovely philtrum piercing with an industrial strength prong set teal opal which looks very pretty!

Aiden's been having some fun with gold recently! He got to use a  BVLA pave snowflake in white gold with clear cubic zirconias in this ladies forward helix piercing and it looks stunning! He also added some work to a regular clients ear who is all about the gold! He added a body gems burst in yellow gold with a while opal to her helix to tie in her existing pieces, and with another client added some more bees to her collection of white yellow and rose gold. Aides then did some nice work using an industrial strength prong set white cat eye as well as a super unusual hot pink opal from anatometal in this scapha piercing.

We'll end this week with an interesting video on tattooing that we thought our readers would find interesting… In the mean time we hope everyone had a good Easter weekend and we will be back soon with more shenanigans!
