Happy New Year!

January 6, 2016

First of all we’d like to say a late Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well as a huge thank you to everyone who donated towards our food drive. We’ve been taking donations throughout December along with our neighbouring shops and managed to collectively take a huge selection of items to donate. Good work Shrewsbury!

Our next announcement is that we have another guest artist who will be working with us! Norby Kovacs will be with us for a few days in January but he won’t be long so if you’re interested in getting some work by him whilst he’s here take a look at his work and get in touch with us to book in with him!

Anna has had a busy week working almost exclusively in watercolour style tattoos.  She recently got to work on a large autumn themed piece with some beautiful colours. She also did a lovely fox piece with some beautiful lines incorporated, and a big watercolour style cover up on a ladies forearm. Along with this she’s been working on more floral pieces like this black and grey thigh piece. Anna loves working in these styles so get in touch with the studio to book in a consultation with her if you want something a bit different.

Josh has also been super busy but he managed to get some excellent healed photos of some tattoos he did a few months back. First was this black and grey pirate themed half sleeve, then this large full colour  phoenix, both have healed so nicely! He also got to do an amazing Jägermeister tattoo and work on an ongoing project by adding a skull on an inner bicep.

Rach has done some lovely pieces recently. She’s done some great pattern work firstly in this lotus piece at the top of the back, a paisley style mandala on the ribs, then a dainty little bracelet on the wrist. She also did two sugar skulls, one in black and grey, one in colour on two best friends.

Chelsea has had a busy few weeks piercing and has done some great work. We custom ordered a genuine white gold daith heart for this lady which looked stunning! She also got to do a lovely young ladies first piercings using some white gold plumeria flowers with clear cubic zirconias by anatometal in her lobes, an excellent choice! She also got to upgrade a surface piercing she’d done previously using some gem flower ends and also had time to squeeze in a lovely rook piercing using a neometal peacock blue opal.

Aiden has been all about the gold this week! He got to upgrade Kip’s septum piercing to a piece of jewellery by BVLA that he’s had his eye on for ages! The 14k yellow gold moody ring we custom ordered for him finally found a home in his stretched septum using a size adapter by industrial strength and it looks amazing! Aiden also got to pierce a septum using a yellow gold horseshoe for the initial piercing. This looks amazing with her BVLA gold cherry blossom also ordered for her by Adorn. He's also been using lots of Industrial Strength jewellery and used  some prong set cat eye gems for this conch and helix piercing. We love the way the light passes through the items and how simple and clean they look.

Thanks again to all our clients from 2015, we're looking forward to an even better 2016 with you all!
